Andreya
Hora
Andreyaa Hora is a Brazilian-British visual artist based in Manchester, whose work bridges mythology, psychology and pop culture across traditions - Afro-Brazilian, Native American, Brothers Grimm and beyond. Drawn to the recurring pull of faces, skulls, heroes and myths, she investigates what these archetypes share across cultures and how they echo through the human experience. Working in acrylics, printmaking, ink and photography - often fused with digital - she creates pieces that feel at once ancient and immediate. As critic Rita Benneditto writes, her paintings carry the warmth and light of her homeland Bahia: sensitivity, colour and vibration in constant harmony.
